Dubai: Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli sustained a minor injury during a net practice session at the ICC Academy while preparing for the Champions Trophy 2025 final against New Zealand, scheduled for March 9.
The injury occurred when Virat Kohli was struck near his knee by a fast delivery, forcing him to stop training immediately. Indian physio staff quickly attended to him, applying a spray and a bandage to ease the discomfort.
Despite experiencing mild pain, Kohli stayed on the field, closely observing the remainder of the training session, which reassured teammates and fans about his condition.
The Indian coaching staff later confirmed that the injury is not serious and that the star batter will be fully fit to play the final.
