The the newspaper Press Agency said Friday that a fire at a resort building site in the port city of Busan, South Korea, has claimed six lives.
According to fire officials cited by Yonhap, some 100 individuals had been evacuated.
According to the article, there were concerns of several casualties at the building site, but only seven individuals had been injured.
A representative of the Busan fire department was not immediately available for comment.
According to a statement from his office, Acting President Choi Sang-mok of South Korea has directed that all available resources be deployed to put out the fire.
