The Sindh government has declared a public holiday on February 19 in honour of the annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
The three-day Urs celebrations will begin on February 17 in Sehwan Sharif, reaching their peak on February 19, with spiritual gatherings continuing until February 20.
Every year, thousands of devotees from across the country visit Sehwan Sharif to pay homage to the revered Sufi saint. The event includes Quran recitations, dhikr gatherings, and other religious activities at the shrine.
To facilitate public participation, the government has announced February 19 as a holiday, allowing devotees to attend the Urs and seek spiritual blessings.
