Saudi Arabia has made history by setting a Guinness World Record for the largest Ardah performance, featuring 633 participants performing the Kingdom’s iconic traditional dance.
The grand event took place during the Founding Day celebrations (Feb 20-23), organized by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City and the Principality of Riyadh Region. Ardah, a symbol of Saudi heritage and pride, begins with a poem recital, followed by drummers setting the rhythm as dancers move in unison. A group leader, holding a traditional blade, leads the performance, representing warrior traditions.
