Lahore recently welcomed world-famous shoe designer Jimmy Choo, who visited the city to experience the rich craftsmanship of Pakistan’s fashion industry. Accompanied by his niece, Lucy Choi, Choo explored top design houses and engaged with some of the country’s most celebrated designers.
During his visit, Choo admired the intricate artistry of renowned designers such as Faraz Manan, Kamiar Rokni, Nilofer Shahid, and Rehan Bashir Jalwana. He expressed deep appreciation for Pakistan’s heritage of craftsmanship and textile innovation, recognizing the country’s immense potential in the global fashion market.
Choo’s visit was associated with the Jimmy Choo Academy (JCA), which is currently exploring possible collaborations with Pakistani designers. While no formal agreements have been made yet, the designer emphasized the importance of global exposure for Pakistani talent. He encouraged designers to actively participate in international fashion weeks to showcase their work on a broader stage.
