To improve healthcare service throughout the state, the Punjab government has chosen to implement “Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services”.
To guarantee a systematic response to health-related issues, this programme seeks to complete 19 important healthcare duties.
Under this scheme, the woman health workers programme will be incorporated into the outsourcing of 20,000 more health inspectors. Consequently, the Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services Force will include 39,000 female health workers.
With more than 60,000 employees overall, the programme will manage duties such as polio and other immunisations and keep an accurate patient record system.
To properly operationalise the Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered immediate actions and sought a complete strategy for the programme.
