Dera Ghazi Khan: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced the establishment of a university in Rajanpur and a cancer hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan, aiming to enhance education and healthcare facilities in the region.
Addressing a public gathering in DG Khan, the prime minister expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and reiterated his government’s commitment to the welfare of the people. He emphasized that Nawaz Sharif’s vision is centered on Pakistan’s development, highlighting past efforts that led to Punjab’s progress. He also praised Maryam Nawaz’s leadership in Punjab, ensuring essential services such as medicines and healthcare reach every household.
PM Shehbaz Sharif recalled the 2010 flood relief efforts in South Punjab and reaffirmed his dedication to improving health, education, and industrial growth. He stated that various projects had been launched to create job opportunities and improve living standards.
Speaking about the economy, the prime minister noted a significant reduction in inflation from 40% to 4%, along with a drop in the policy rate from 22% to 12%. He assured the public that Pakistan’s economic condition was improving and vowed to continue working for national prosperity.
