The much-anticipated showdown between Pakistan and India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to take place tomorrow in Dubai. Ahead of the high-pressure match, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finalized the playing XI.
According to PCB sources, opener Imam-ul-Haq will replace the injured Fakhar Zaman, while the rest of the squad remains unchanged. PCB officials have stated that they do not want to drop any other players to maintain team morale.
Historically, Pakistan and India have faced each other five times in the Champions Trophy. Pakistan has won three encounters, while India emerged victorious in two matches.
Pakistan had a disappointing start to the tournament, suffering a crushing defeat against New Zealand in the opening match. To secure a spot in the semi-finals, the national team must now defeat both India and Bangladesh in the upcoming matches.
