Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister, has called on the Muslim nations to cooperate in order to protect Palestine’s interests.
He was speaking at the ambassadorial level at the OIC group conference in New York.
According to Ishaq Dar, the Palestinian people have suffered greatly as a result of the Gaza conflict.
He said that Pakistan is in favour of using diplomacy to maintain the ceasefire deal in Gaza as well as the negotiations and execution of its second and third stages.
Proposals for the removal of Palestinians from their country should be fiercely opposed, the deputy prime minister warned.
