Pakistani actress Aymen Saleem has spoken out against the culture of unnecessary criticism towards public figures. She questioned why people struggle to respect others’ choices and be happy for them.
Referring to a celebrity wedding, she stated:
“A couple had their Nikkah in a holy place, kept it simple, and then celebrated their wedding the way they wanted. How does that affect you? Why do people act like self-appointed judges?”
She emphasized that faith and celebrations are deeply personal, and no one has the right to question someone’s sincerity based on how they choose to celebrate.
“If you can’t find it in yourself to be happy for others, the least you can do is mind your own business,” she added.
