The Sindh Health Department announced on Monday that respiratory illnesses are dangerously on the increase in Karachi.
With 248 cases of various respiratory ailments reported as of February 13 of this year, the Sindh Health Department has issued figures showing an alarming increase in respiratory disorders in the metropolis.
Hospitals reported the greatest number of cases, 119, of H1N1 influenza.
According to statistics from the Health Department, 20 cases were recorded at Dow University Hospital, while 99 cases were discovered in private hospitals.
Additionally, 95 instances of Influenza A and B were verified by the department.
In addition, there have been reports of two RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) cases, eight coronavirus cases, and fifteen rhinovirus cases.
