Dubai: India clinched their third ICC Champions Trophy title after defeating New Zealand by four wickets in the final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Along with the prestigious trophy, India secured a massive cash prize of $2.24 million (over 600 million Pakistani rupees), as announced by the ICC on February 14.
New Zealand, the tournament’s runners-up, will receive $1.12 million (over 310 million Pakistani rupees). The ICC had increased the total prize pool by 53% compared to the previous edition, making this victory even more significant.
