Pakistan cricket team’s opener Fakhar Zaman is reportedly considering retirement from One-Day International (ODI) cricket.
According to sources, the Pakistani batter has discussed this decision with his close friends and family. In a recent statement, Fakhar Zaman hinted that the Champions Trophy could be his last tournament and that he wants to take a break from ODI matches.
Additionally, reports suggest that Fakhar Zaman is planning to relocate his family abroad.
The cricketer has already been sidelined from all forms of cricket for two and a half months due to an injury. Furthermore, he is still recovering from hyperthyroidism, which has affected his fitness and performance.
Fakhar Zaman has represented Pakistan in 86 ODI matches, playing key innings and contributing significantly to the team’s victories.
