PTI leader Azam Khan Swati’s temporary bail in five instances of the events of May 9 has been extended by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore till February 12.
Judge Manzar Ali Gul presided over the hearing and examined Swati’s bail requests.
Chaudhry Adnan Kalar, Swati’s attorney, filed a request for an exemption from appearing in court during the proceedings, stating that Swati is unable to travel due to his heart condition and ongoing medical treatment in Mansehra.
Although the exemption motion was granted, Judge Manzar Ali Gul gave a severe warning, saying,
“I am granting a few more days, but the accused must appear in court at the next hearing.”
