In the opening match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, New Zealand has set a target of 321 runs for Pakistan.
Batting first, New Zealand posted 321/5 in 50 overs, thanks to brilliant centuries by Will Young and Tom Latham. Will Young scored 107, while Tom Latham remained unbeaten on 118. Glenn Phillips also contributed 61 runs to the total.
For Pakistan, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf took two wickets each, while Abrar Ahmed claimed one wicket.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bowl first against New Zealand in the opening match of the tournament. The match is being played at the National Bank Cricket Arena.
