The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed fines on three Pakistani cricketers—Shaheen Afridi, Saud Shakeel, and Kamran Ghulam—for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during a recent match.
According to the ICC, fast bowler Shaheen Afridi was fined 25% of his match fee for his misconduct. Both Saud Shakeel and substitute player Kamran Ghulam were fined 10% of their match fees.
The charges stemmed from violations of the ICC’s code of conduct, with Afridi’s actions involving inappropriate body contact and an argument with the match officials. In addition to the fines, all three players were handed one demerit point each.
