A government employee in West Bengal stabbed four colleagues after his leave request was denied, Hindustan Times reported.
The attacker, Amit Kumar Sarkar, was caught on camera roaming the office building with a bloodstained knife, warning people to stay away.
The horrifying incident took place at Karigari Bhavan in Kolkata’s Newtown area, where Sarkar worked in the technical education department.
After a heated argument over his leave, he allegedly attacked his colleagues before attempting to escape. Two victims are in critical condition.
Police have arrested Sarkar and are investigating whether mental health issues played a role in the attack.
