It’s official! Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane and actor Ameer Gilani tied the knot in a surprise ceremony on Wednesday evening, sending fans into a frenzy.
Though rumors had been swirling for some time about their relationship, the couple always maintained that they were just friends, particularly after working together in the dramas Neem (2023) and Sabaat (2020).
The engagement rumors were confirmed when Mawra shared a beautiful photo of herself and Ameer in their wedding attire at Lahore Fort. Her heartfelt caption read, “And in the middle of chaos… I found you,” followed by the date and the hashtag #MawraAmeerHoGayi.
Mawra stunned in a sky-blue lehenga with delicate pale gold embroidery and pink accents, while Ameer looked dashing in a charcoal shalwar kameez, waistcoat, and shawl, complemented by tan Peshawari chapals.
The couple received warm wishes from fans, along with congratulatory messages from their fellow stars, including Mawra’s sister, Urwa Hocane, and her husband, Farhan Saeed.
