A special Ramazan package has been launched by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to assist worthy households throughout the holy month.
The provincial government decided that every qualified household would get a Rs 10,000 cash payment during Ramadan. To take advantage of this program, 5,000 families would be chosen from each of the province’s 115 districts.
Finding deserving families is a responsibility that the government has delegated to several ministries. Beneficiaries would start getting checks totalling Rs 10,000 throughout the first ten days of Ramadan.
This package will pay an estimated Rs8 billion in total. To guarantee efficiency and transparency, the distribution procedure will be monitored directly from the Chief Minister’s residence in Peshawar.
