DUBAI: A total of 48 Pakistani nationals have been deported from six different countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), due to various immigration violations, sources revealed.

According to immigration officials, 31 individuals were sent back from Saudi Arabia for reasons such as being blacklisted, lacking proper travel documents, completing prison sentences, overstaying work permits, working without a sponsor, or fleeing from their jobs.

In addition, 12 Pakistanis were deported from Oman for violations including overstaying visas, being blacklisted, or entering the country illegally. Two individuals were deported from the UAE, while one each was deported from Qatar and Azerbaijan due to immigration-related offences.

Authorities have handed over five deported individuals to police stations in Larkana, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, and Darakhshan for further legal procedures.

Immigration officers offloaded 13 travellers holding visit visas for Iraq, Greece, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and the Philippines.
